  Be One – via Muzică Without Frontiers is the debut album released by Nico de Transilvania. The long awaited follow up to ‘Come get your sisters’ synthesises electronic dance music with traditional Romanian instruments and folk songs. This fusion of genres has resulted in a groundbreaking eight track LP which has been crafted to bring together a mix of influences, reflecting one of Nico’s inimitable DJ sets which seamlessly unites bouncy Balkan beats with drum and bass, deep-house, folktronica and dance music.
  
  Based on her Muzică Without Frontiers vision to unite artists of all ages and culture, this album explores her own ancestral heritage, and the preservation of musical traditions through soulful electronica.
  
  Instrumental to this production are Tom Beaufoy (Evil Nine) and Abstract Source who coproduced the album alongside over twenty contributing artists recording on location in Romanian forests, Bucharest and back in the UK by Wes Maebe.

The long awaited follow up to 2017’s EP ‘Come get your sisters’ synthesises electronic dance music with traditional Romanian instruments and folk songs.This fusion of genres has resulted in a groundbreaking seven track LP which has been crafted to bring together a mix of influences, reflecting one of Nico’s inimitable DJ sets. Full of energetic, bouncy Balkan beats and hypotonic vocals wired together with electronic music.
  
  On ‘Be One’, Nico picks up from the authentic sounds that defined ‘Come get your sisters’, which laid the groundwork for this new and dynamic production. Based on her Muzică Without Frontiers vision to unite artists of all ages and culture, this album explores her own ancestral heritage, and the preservation of musical traditions through soulful electronica.
  
  With support already garnered from ‘Nickodemus’ who successfully road-tested‘Come Get Your Sisters’ atBonobo’s Boiler Room session in New York, the latest chapter of Nico’s exploration as a producer showcases her interpretation of the music that energises her DJ sets and influences her selections. Her innate ability to create music that makes you want to dance is immortalised in this electronic genre hopping LP which seamlessly unites drum and bass, house, folktronica and dance music.
